A teat for an infant's feeding bottle comprises a ring of teeth 15 carried on its inner wall and having intermediate spaces of corresponding shape in cross-section so that when the wall of the teat is squeezed together in feeding the teeth 15 interfit so closing off the nipple portion of the teat. A vent opening 10 in the teat flange 9 has at its upper end an annular space 13 open to the atmosphere by a space 14 between the flange 9 and the teat wall and at its lower end a slit 12 formed in a bridge portion 11. The teat is of rubber.
