Abstract

884,344. Vehicle hoods. WEBASTO-WERK G.m.b.H. Feb. 25, 1960 [March 7, 1959], No. 6601/60. Class 108(1) The sliding cover 1 which closes a roof aperture is actuated by a screwed drive shaft 6 from an electric motor. The shaft 6 carries a member 7 which is connected via a block 12 to a member 8 mounted in bearings 9, 10, 11 carried by the cover 1 and carrying an inclined surface 14 at its rear end. When the shaft 6 is rotated the block 12, under the action of the spring 13, moves rearwardly to lower the rear edge of the cover 1 to enable it to slide under the fixed roof 4.
