Abstract
882,074. Valves; hydraulic accumulators. TECALEMIT Ltd. March 21, 1958 [April 1, 1957], No. 10636/57. Classes 69 (2) and 135. [Also in Group XXXIV] A diaphragm-operated device for lubrication systems which includes a pressure regulating or reducing valve and an hydraulic accumulator or intensifier, comprises a casing 57, 64, 84A containing a resilient diaphragm 80 which is fixed at its periphery and encloses on one side thereof a lubricant outlet chamber 67 which is adapted to be placed in communication with the inlet of a lubricant pump, a hollow valve sleeve 90 fixed to, and movable with, the diaphragm, a valve body 88 in which the sleeve is slidable, and an inlet 100 in the body for high-pressure lubricant, the interior of the valve sleeve opening into the outlet chamber 67 and communication between the interior of the sleeve and the inlet being opened and closed by the sleeve as the latter moves with the diaphragm, the outlet chamber 67 being formed between the said diaphragm and a second resilient diaphragm 62 which is spaced axially in the casing from the first diaphragm and is fixed at its periphery, the second diaphragm carrying a lubricant outlet tube 72 which is slidably arranged in the casing and is in constant communication at one end with the outlet chamber 67 and at its opposite end with the inlet of the lubricant pump. In a system (see Group XXXIV), three lubrication pumps of different types supplying separate groups of bearings are connected each through a separate one of the devices with a common high-pressure source. Specification 835,127 is referred to.
