Abstract

881,999. Retreading tyres. KENT, J. H. F. Aug. 29, 1960 [Sept. 9, 1959], No. 30849/59. Class 87(2). In a tyre retreading operation in which the new tread T is first placed in the mould, it is held in position by pegs C,D. In a modification, Fig. 2, the pegs E,E<SP>1</SP> may be located as shown. The mould may be made in one or two parts, have a distance piece to allow its width to be adjusted, and have rents H for the escape of air.
