Abstract

The invention comprises 1-cyclohexyl-1-propanol carbamate and the preparation thereof by condensing 1-cyclohexyl-1-propanol with urea or a salt thereof, cyanic acid, carbamoyl chloride or a urethane or by condensing 1-cyclohexyl-1-propanol with phosgene or a chloroformic acid ester and condensing the product with ammonia. Examples are given.
