Abstract

875,222. Firearm magazines. MICROCELL Ltd., BARLOW, J. A., and MOLINS J. J. May 20, 1958 [May 21, 1957], No. 16146/57. Classes 92 and 119. A magazine casing for a Bren-gun or F.N. rifle comprises a pair of glassfibre reinforced polystyrene dish-like mouldings 10, 11 Fig. 2 removably secured together by interengaging formations 12, 13. Parts 10, 11 are located relatively to one another by means of a tongue 14 and slot 15 Fig. 1, and a positioning lug 16 and a catch lug 17 for locating and securing the magazine in the weapon are formed as an integral part of the moulding 10. Alternatively the casing may be moulded in one piece or the two parts may be bonded together. The lips of the casing may be reinforced by metal.
