[Also in Group VI] In an apparatus for dusting bulbs with fungicide the bulbs are received into an inner conical drum 2 from an endless belt 14 where they are rotated and gravitate out to a receiving belt 19. The fungicide supplied at 16 mixes with and coats the bulbs while surplus fungicide falls through perforations 18 into a reversely conical integral outer drum 1 and travels towards the left-hand end and is guided back into the inner drum 2 by guide plates 8, 9 and 10. Longitudinal ribs 13 carry the bulbs up and around while ribs 12 in the outer drum carry the bulbs around. The device is mounted for rotation on rollers 5. To empty the device a scoop 20 is inserted in the inner drum.
