The main frame 19 of a roof ventilator as described in Specification 748,582 is pivotally mounted by pairs of toggle links 21, 22 and to provide an emergency exit the roof panel 12 is detachably secured to the main frame 19 by tongues 17 rotatable with the handles 15, 16 pivotally mounted on the roof panel 12.
