[Also in Group XXV] A nose-ring 9, Fig. 2, for an animal comprises two parts hinged together at 10 and fixed together at their overlapping ends 11, 12, after insertion through a nose, by a screw 5, Fig. 3, having a tapered head 15. A screw-driver 6 is joined to the head by a tapered part 18 with a transverse hole 19. The driver shears off the head at a predetermined torque leaving a transverse tool-receiving groove in the head.
