[Also in Groups IX, XXVI and XXXIV] A packing, bearing or fabric is produced from or contains composite yarns composed of yarns of polytetrafluoroethylene and yarns of asbestos fibres, glass fibres or cellulosic fibres. The material may form the surface layer or each layer of laminated structure, or it may be a solid woven, braided or plaited fabric. The laminated structure is formed by impiregnation with a phenolic resin solution, dried and moulded under heat and pressure.
