858,273. Supporting pipes. TURBIN AKTIEBOLAGET DE LAVAL L, JUNGSTROM. Oct. 21, 1959 [Oct. 22, 1958], No. 35676/59. Class 99(2). A support 2 for tying together a group of tubes disposed adjacent one another transversely of the support is characterised in that the tubes 1 are laid in U-shaped open recesses 5 in support 2 and are locked therein by a locking means 6, lying transversely over the tubes 1, which is pushed along the support between the tubes and a part 3 of the support bent over the tubes. As shown in Fig. 1, the portion 3 is provided with a downwardly bent edge 4. The recesses 5 are of such a depth in relation to the tube diameter that the bar or rod 6 of rectangular cross-section contacts the tubes 1 and holds them in their intended positions. The support 3 may be of a U-shape, Fig. 5, with recesses through both the limbs and intermediate part. The locking means may be a rod or bar of circular cross-section when the overturned part has a rounded form adapted to the locking means.
