A platform for a carton A comprises a pair of panels 20, 21 each having depending flanges 24, 25, 26, as well as adjacent ones 23, 22 respectively the latter being formed integrally so as to accommodate between them a dividing piece 11. The division 11 is folded up from a separate blank creased at i, see Fig. 1. In a modification, score lines b, c, d extend to the edges of adjacent flanges, the squares formed by these scores intersecting' with scores f and g being creased diagonally, so that cuts 8, 9, 10 are unnecessary. The dividing may have notches or slots for knives or other articles.
