Class 59 A crushing mill having a rotatable grinding track and, at substantially fixed positions relative to the circumferential direction of the grinding track, rollers which, as the grinding track rotates beneath them, roll thereover, the rollers being spring-urged towards the grinding track, wherein each roller is pressed downwardly by a pressure member, which is displaceable in the vertical direction relative to the grinding track and is spring- urged towards the same, and is swingable, in the radial direction of the grinding track relative to the said pressure member. As shown in Fig. 1, grinding rollers 1 are mounted at fixed radial positions inside a housing 2 and roll in a groove 5 in a rotatable grinding plate 3. The rollers are loaded by means of springs 6 which abut against a fixed bearing ring 7 and against a pressure ring 8 to which are secured pressure members 9 which engage in sockets 10 of roller bearers 11 which hold the shafts 12 of the rollers 1. In a modification, Fig. 2, the roller shafts 12 are also guided in bearings 13 secured to the housing and in a central core member 14. In another modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the roller shafts are each carried by a double-armed roller bearer. In a further modification, Fig. 4 (not shown), the pressure members are arranged as separate members pivotally mounted on the inside of the housing and the pressure of the springs may be taken up by separate fixed bearing brackets. In a still further modification, Fig. 5 (not shown), the roller bearers are each provided with two horizontally spaced sockets.
