850,266. Indicating fluid flow. MASHEDER, P. R. May 25, 1959, No. 17675/59. Class 69 (1). A fluid flow indicator comprises a metal connection body 11, a transparent cover 12 and a ball 14 displaceable upwardly in an uptake conduit constituted by aligned inclined bores 11a, 12a in the body and cover respectively, the internal diameter of the uptake conduit being slightly greater than the diameter of the ball 14, the uptake conduit having a closed upper end and an outlet port 12b having at least one dimension smaller than the ball diameter. The transparent cover 12 has a domed surface so that a magnifying effect is obtained. In a modification shown in Fig. 3, the uptake and outlet conduits join at an angle of 90 degrees.
