Class 143 The dribble feed gate 7 of an automatic feed weigher for use with lumpy material consists of a series of tines which facilitate closure of the gate. Material is fed from a hopper 3 to a weigh pan (not shown) by a'vibrator 4, or an endless belt (not shown), and gate 7 is raised by a motor driven cam 13 for a predetermined time during each weighing cycle to effect bulk feed. The closed position of the gate is determined by an adjustable abutment 16.
