Abstract

A detergent composition comprises an emulsion formed from an aqueous solution of a compound of the formula: <FORM:0848654/III/1> , wherein <FORM:0848654/III/2> or <FORM:0848654/III/3> , or a water-soluble acid addition salt of such a compound (e.g. a citrate or tartrate), and a water-insoluble fatty acid alkylol amide. Specified alkylol amides are those derived from palmitic or stearic acid and monoethanolamine. Additional components may be added such as perfumes or other amphoteric surface-active compounds (e.g. dodecyl - di(aminoethyl) - glycine or o - dodecyl - 1:3 - hydroxypropyl - b - aminobutyric acid).ALSO:A disinfectant composition comprises an emulsion formed from an aqueous solution of a compound of the formula: n-C12H25-NHCH2CH2CH2NH -C2H2x-COOH, wherein CxH2x is -CH2-, -CH2CH2-, -CH(CH3)- or -CH(CH3)CH2- or a water-soluble acid addition salt of such a compound (e.g. a citrate or tartrate), and a water-insoluble fatty acid alkylol amide. Specified alkylol amides are those derived from palmitic or stearic acid and monoethanolamine. Additional components may be added such as perfumes or other amphoteric surface-active compounds (e.g. dodecyl-di(aminoethyl)-glycine, or o-dodecyl-1:3-hydroxypropyl-b -aminobutyric acid).
