Abstract
848,093. Contact members for switches. TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE. May 14, 1957 [June 12,1956], No.15303/57. Class 38 (5). A contact unit, Fig. 1, comprising a base 1, fixed contacts 2, a bridging movable contact 3, a contact actuator 4 and biasing springs 5, 6, is readily removable from a contactor 7 by unfastening screws 8, 9 which electrically connect the contacts 2 to terminal supports 12, 13. In Fig. 2 the contacts are normally closed and only one fastening screw 8 is used, the other contact 2 having one end in an aperture 19 and pressed by a spring 20. A similar arrangement may also be applied to normally open contacts (Fig. 3, not shown). In Fig. 4 (not shown) the end of one contact 2 is forked to engage under a spring biased pin on the support 13.
