Abstract

Compositions for dental use e.g. toothpastes, comprise a solid, semi-solid or liquid dental base and as anti-inflammatory ingredient one or more of the following substances; glycynhetinic acid, its active isomers and derivatives, xanthoglalrol and its derivatives. One or more analgesics and/or anti-causative-agents (as defined) e.g. neomycin sulphate, dorniphen bromide, benzalkonium chloride, dequalinium chloride, flavours and preservatives may be included. Specifications 798,655, 799,415, 843,132, 843,133 and 843,135 are referred to.
