Abstract
847,874. Circlips. ELLISON SPRING CLIPS Ltd., ELLISON, V. A, and ELLISON, M. S. April 2, 1959 [April 25, 1958], No. 13150/58. Class 89(2). A spring circlip has varying quantities of metal removed at four, six or eight positions 3, 4 on its internal or external periphery according to whether the circlip is for external or internal use, respectively, to form recesses which occupy less than half the circumference of the circlip. The amounts removed increase between the positions from the centre 2 towards the ends 1. The plier &c. engaging apertures 5 are situated adjacent the periphery containing the recesses.
