Abstract

847,296. Stockings. TAYLOR-WOODS Ltd. May 21, 1959 [March 7, 1958], No. 7486/58. Class 141 [Also in Group XV] In a nylon &c. stocking, a flocking of natural fibres is applied to the inside of the foot portion. In a stocking with a knitted reinforcement the flocking is of silk, wool or cotton, whereas in a stocking knitted without reinforcement, it consists of a mixture of silk and nylon. The flocking is applied by means of a heat-setting adhesive.
