840,646. Bobbin supporting devices. FUSAROLI, G. July 28, 1958 [July 27, 1957], No. 24302/58. Class 120(2). A bobbin holder comprises two parts, one attached to a creel board and having a bearing head 18 with associated ball bearing 5 and the other holding the bobbin, the two parts being separable by manually operating a spring-biased sleeve 17 slidable along two parallely spaced members 1, 2. Members 1, 2 are stamped out of sheet metal and formed in arcuate shape and with upper ends 3, 31 shaped to slide on to a casing 4 of the bearing 5. The two parts are separated by depressing the sleeve 17 against the action of a spring 16 which then allows the ends 3, 3<SP>1</SP> to be removed laterally from the casing 4. A part 6 holding the ends of members 1, 2, the sleeve 17 and a sleeve 15 and catch 11 of the bobbinholding mechanism are made of plastic.
