Abstract

A composition comprises isotactic polypropylene (i.e. at least 75% being insoluble in heptane) and a minor amount of a rubbery polymer of isobutylene. Specified polymers are polyisobutylenes, isobutylene/isoprene copolymers, and rubbery styrene/isobutylene copolymers. The polymer preferably has a molecular weight in the range 80,000 to 100,000, and is present in 5-30%. The composition may contain additives, e.g. antioxidants, and may be used to form mouldings or extrusions.
