832,501. Induction relays. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Jan. 11, 1957 [Jan. 11, 1956], No. 936/56. Class 38 (5). In order to produce a " very inverse " characteristic in a time-overcurrent induction relay, the core 10 of the shaded-pole drive electromagnet has a saturable bridge 10d across the gap 10a in which the induction disc 12 rotates and a more-readily-saturable bridge 10c across a gap 10b in the core in series with the main gap 10a. Non-magnetic spacers may be placed between the core 10 and the bridge member 10d.
