Abstract

A zirconium-base alloy which is resistant to corrosion by water and steam at high temperatures, for example 325 DEG C., has the following composition: Ta 1.0-5.0%, Ni 0.5-1.0%, Zr the balance. Nitrogen may be present in impurity amounts for example 0.005-0.016%.
