Abstract

830,231. Skips. CEMENTATION CO. Ltd. Feb. 14, 1958 [Feb. 15, 1957), No. 5253/57. Class 78 (4). A bucket 1, provided with trunnions 3, is lowered on to bearings 10 mounted on a door 8 which is closed over a shaft from which the bucket has been withdrawn by a rope 5 and, on further lowering, tips to empty its contents on to a second door 9 which forms the beginning of a shoot. In a modification, Fig. 4 (not shown), the trunnion bearings are mounted on the bucket and are lowered on to trunnions mounted on the door, the axis of the bearings being off-set from a vertical central plane of the bucket.
