829,694. Seat arrangements. PITT, P. Nov. 13, 1957 [Nov. 22, 1956; April 9, 1957], Nos. 35754/56 and 11519/57. Class 103(2) [Also in Group XIV] A vertically hinged flap 10 is mounted on one of a pair of fixed seat bases 2 in a caravan or like vehicle and can be swung across the gap between the bases to carry a cushion supporting frame whereby the seats can be converted to a settee and the space between them utilized for storage. A similar flap can also be provided on the other seat base and the flaps can be turned through 180 degrees to extend forwardly for use with auxiliary box-like supports and top frames to form a double bed. A single bed can be formed by using auxiliary supports to widen the settee structure.
