Class 146(1) A document filing device for suspension of folders 25 comprises a filing drawer and a detachable rail unit, the drawer having front, side and rear panels 10, 16, 19 and bottom 18, the unit comprising a pair of rails 30 slip fitted and detachably connected at their front ends into slots at the upper end of the front panel 10 and a pair of post members 44 standing at the rear corners of the drawer, each member 44 having its bottom end 48 slip fitted downwardly into an aperture 47 in the bottom 18 and apertured at 42 at its upper end to hold, in detachable hooked-in relation, the rear end 46 of a rail 30 to support the rail in parallel alignment with the side panels 16. The ends 48 of the posts 44 are hook shaped so as to spring into the apertures 47 and tongues 49 are bent out of each post 44 to hook through slots 50 in rail, box-sectioned tops 20 of the side panels 16.
