[Also in Group XIV] Two loud - speakers are mounted closely adjacent the head of a user so that other people shall not be unduly disturbed. They may be mounted in the wings of a wing-chair, Fig. 2, or in the wings of a box, Fig. 1, mounted on a stand, wall or trolley. Such a box may be adjustable for height. The device may be used as an acoustic booth in a gramophone record shop.
