826,035. Tools for setting out work. BULLOUGH, A., [trading as FERRIWOOD INDUSTRIES]. July 22, 1957 [Aug. 20, 1956], No. 25334/56. Class 61. A device for supporting a shaft during testing for concentricity comprises two pillars at the top of which is retained a pair of balls with freedom to rotate. Each pair of balls 6 is supported in a groove 14 in the top of a pillar and retained in an aperture having a lip 7, the distance apart of the balls of each pair being adjustable by screws 8. The two pillars may be mounted on one base 3 as shown or on separate bases.
