820,467. Attaching upholstery. PULLEY, T. L., PULLEY, L. W., PULLEY, A., and PULLEY, S. N. March 21, 1958 [March 23, 1957], No. 9603/57. Class 52(4) [Also in Groups XXV and XXXI] Upholstery 4 and an edging strip 5 are attached to a depending flange 2 of a seat 1, e.g. a combined motor cycle saddle and pillion, by S-shaped clips 6, one channel 7 of which takes into a channel in strip 5 and has prongs 9 entering the upholstery 4 and the other channel 8 of which receives part of strip 5 and has either prongs 10, Fig. 4 and 7, entering the strip or a bulge 11, Fig. 6, fitting a projection 12 on the strip. Preferably the upholstery is folded over the extremity of flange 2. The strip may have a part concealing the rear of the clips.
