Class 108(1) A vehicle roof is provided with a hollow external reinforcing member 12 preferably provided with flanges 13 which are secured to the roof 6 and the side panel 7. The imaginary line of intersection 8 of the roof 6 and the panel 7 may also coincide with either marginal edge of the member 12. The hollow member formed by the members 11 and 12 mav be replaced by an elliptical section member.
