Abstract

819,887. Omnibuses. BEATON & SON Ltd., G., and CREBER, R. W. Jan. 9, 1958 [Jan. 16, 1957], No. 1677/57. Class 108(1) A stanchion 10 has secured to it a screwed element 13 provided with a pair of projections 13b which engage opposite recesses in a cruciform section resilient member 17. The other recesses in the member 17 are engaged by a pair of projections 14b formed integrally with a plate 14a secured non-rotatably on the member 11 attached to the seat frame 12. When the sleeve 18 is screwed on to the element 13 the stanchion is resiliently but non - rotatably secured to the seat frame.
