Abstract

An iron-base alloy, having a Rockwell C hardness of 45 to 68 and which is particularly suitable for use as a hard-facing alloy has the following composition in percentage by weight: C above 1-4.5, Cr 17-27, Mo 4-10, C 5-25, Si 0-less than 4, Fe and impurities the balance.
