815,573. Cables. SUMITOMO ELECTRIC INDUSTRIES Ltd. Sept. 2,1955, No. 25341/55. Drawings to Specification. Class 36. A conductor is enclosed in two longitudinally extending thermoplastic tapes covering its upper and lower sides and sealed together at a distance from the conductor of several times the tape thickness so as to leave a space between the tape and the conductor. The tape may be of polyvinylchloride or polyethylene and may be initially in sheet form to cover several parallel conductors which are subsequently separated by cutting the sheet material longitudinally between the conductors.
