Class 89(3) A stapling device comprises a hollow body 1, a staple carrying element 3 adapted to close the lower end of the body part, a staple feeder 15 mounted on the staple carrying element, both of these parts being of generally inverted U-shape in section, and a staple guide 17 adapted resiliently to press the staples on to said staple carrying element, the staple carrying element 3 and the staple guide 17 having thereon coincident members, in the form of upstanding lugs 7, 18, by which they may both be located within the body 1 and secured by pins common to them both, one of the pins 8, being removable so that the staple carrying element 3 and guide 17 can be removed from the body 1. The staple carrying element 3 includes a base block part which is downwardly tapered and terminates in a groove 25 for the reception of a cable or the like to be secured by the staples.
