812,979. Fluid-actuated valves; regulating flow of fluids. MONAHAN, J. C. May 1, 1956, No. 13364/56. Classes 69 (2) and 135. A liquid flow equalizing device comprises intermeshing idler gears 17, 18, 19 disposed in cavities 14, 15, 16 in a housing, inlet ducts 12, 13 leading from an inlet port 9 to the region of intersection of cavities 15, 16 and to the region of intersection of cavities 14, 15, respectively. Outlet ducts 20, 21 lead from the opposite sides of the intersections to an outlet chamber 22 provided with outlet ports 10, 11. A shuttle piston 23 in the outlet chamber serves, on an increase in pressure in one of the outlet ports and the associated duct 20 or 21, to restrict the path between the other duct 21 or 20 and its outlet port and thus to equalize the pressures in the outlet ducts.
