812,628. Knitting-machines. HEMPHILL CO. Sept. 16, 1955 [May 5, 1955], No. 26591/55. Class 74 (2). The fabric issuing from the needles of a circular machine is subjected to a downwardly directed blast of air passing through a tube 7 and directed on to the fabric by a deflector 10 to effect the take down of the fabric. Elements 13 as described in Specification 811,636 may be provided to assist in the take down of the fabric.
