812,588. Voltage, transmission level, measuring. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. Dec. 14, 1956, No. 38288/56. Class 37. In the receiver of a transmission measuring set, the A.C. signal is applied to the input 1, 2 of a two-stage transistor amplifier having a negative feedback path which includes a rectifier bridge 19 with a D.C. meter 20 across it. The negative feedback increases the output impedance so that the output is substantially independent of the input frequency over the range. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 787,691.
