Class 44 A door or window fastening consists of a pair of tubular members A, one of which is adapted to be fixed to a door, Fig. 3, or to a window sash Fig. 2 and the other of which is adapted to be fixed to the door frame Fig. 3 or to the window frame Fig. 2, or to an adjacent sash, Fig. 4 and a rigid U-shaped member B the arms of which are engageable in the tubular members A to secure the door or window in its closed position.
