Abstract

A composition used to bond together the plies of a fabric laminate comprises neoprene latex, a wetting agent (Emulphor OH), sodium silicate, methylcellulose, an antifoam agent, water, and a ball-mill batch comprising zinc oxide, an antioxidant (Agerite), a retarder, calcium carbonate, pigment grade iron oxide, a dispersing agent, and bentonite.
