811,675. Anti - freeze compositions. ILFORD Ltd. Aug. 9, 1957 [Aug. 29, 1956], No. 26366/56. Class 29 An anti-freeze composition comprises ethylene glycol and 0.1 to 1 per cent by weight of benzotriazole by weight of the ethylene glycol. The composition may also contain triethanolamine phosphate, sodium nitrite and cyclohexylamine each in a proportion of 0.1 to 5 per cent by weight of the ethylene glycol. The composition may be diluted with four volumes of water to provide a cooling liquid. Examples are given.
