Class 108(1) Guide means for a vehicle sliding roof comprises a rain gutter 1 substantially of U-section, an extension 3 of the rain gutter 1 projecting horizontally inwardly from the inner side wall of the rain gutter and a guide rail 4 comprising a horizontal web, attached above said horizontally inward extension, the guide rail further comprising an upper flange 5 and a lower flange 6 which embrace a guide foot 8 on a sliding roof panel 9, the lower flange 6 resting substantially directly on the bottom of the rain gutter 1. The head linng 7 is clamped between the rain gutter and the flange 6 and between the guide rail 4 and the extension 3. Specification 751,332 is referred to.
