810,148. Perambulators. BERNCASTLE, F. M. Sept. 17, 1957 [Sept. 19, 1956], No. 28609/56. Class 108(1) A ,guard for a perambulator has the form of a pen and occupies the space existing in front of the raised hood of the perambulator and above the perambulator body not covered by said hood, said guard comprising a framework having infant-retaining walls except where exposed to the interior of the hood. U-shaped base and top frame members 1 and 4 are joined at their ends to a further upright U member 2 by pieces 3 and 5 respectively. Bars 6 connect the upper and lower frames the bars at the ends being inclined inwardly to prevent the baby moving to an unstable position of the perambulator. The framework rests on the side walls of the body 7, the slotted pieces 3 being engaged and clamped on the pivots 8 of the hood, a tag 10 also engages a stud at the end of the body.
