Class 146(2) In a continuous web of printed letter forms comprising two or more superposed webs provided with transverse lines of weakening 13 which define boundaries between adjacent forms and enables the latter to be separated, all the webs are connected together along one side and at least the two outer webs 10, 11 have marginal portions 16, 17 at the opposite side bounded at their inner edges by coincident longitudinal lines of weakening 14, 15 enabling these portions, when they are connected together, to be detachable to open the form, the uppermost web of each form bearing the printed matter of a returnable document and, on its outer surface, an address &c. space. In the construction shown in Fig. 1a a wide web is folded at 12 to form webs 10, 11, which may be additionally connected by adhesive 19 or sewing 20, and adhesive 21 is applied for joining the outer edges of the webs, web 10 being detachable along a line of weakening 18. Further webs 24, 25, which may be of the same width as webs 10, 11 (as in Fig. 3a), lines of weakness coincident with lines 14, 15 and further adhesive 30 then being provided, or extend almost to lines 14, 15 (as in Fig. 2) may be formed by further folding a wide web at 26, 27, 28. Webs 24,. 25 are connected by adhesive 29 or sewing 20 with or without adhesive, such as 19, in folds 26, 28. Alternatively similar constructions may be formed from separate webs such as 10, 11, 32, 33 in Fig. 5. In the latter construction webs 32, 33 have lines of weakening 34, 35 so that they become detachable when margins 16, 17 are removed. Feed holes 22 may be provided at one or both sides, or one or more aligned feed holes 23 may be provided at or near each line 13. In the construction shown in Fig. 7 feed holes 22 are provided on the margins 37 outside the regions of connection 19, 21, and these margins may be removed by cutting or by means of lines of weakening 38.
