[Also in Group X] A collector for lost oil products floating on water comprises a flexible fence 1 of plastic material which is kept floating in a vertical position by means of floats 2, and by rods 4 and weights 5 in pockets 3, and projects above and below the water level 7. Fig. 5 shows the fence 1 being towed by two vessels 12 to collect the oil.
