802,417. Ironing boards. MOORE, F. T. D. Feb. 27, 1957, No. 6568/57. Class 52(3) An ironing board is supported by crossed pivoted legs, 3, 4 of which 3 is pivoted at its upper end to the board 1 which has on its underside a longitudinal channel 16 in which slides a member 17 coupled to the upper end of the leg 4, there being a flexible connector 18 secured to the member 17 partially disposed in the channel 16 and partially hanging freely and means for retaining the flexible conector i adjustable position. As shown the member 17 is secured to a plate 10; to which the leg 4 is pivoted, sliding in a channel 9 on the underside of the board 1. The flexible connector 18 may be a chain engaging a catch 20 or a cord which may be pressed into a V-shaped notch.
