Abstract
799,245. Electrolytic processes. REGIE NATIONALE DES USINES RENAULT. Nov. 14, 1955 [Nov. 30, 1954], No. 32520/55. Class 41. Chromium deposits are removed from articles by placing the articles as the cathode of an electrolysis cell containing sulphuric acid. Current may be applied from an external source, or the articles may be connected to an electrode of iron, lead or a metal more noble than chromium in the potential series, and which is immersed in the same bath as the articles. Specification 331,220, [CLass 41], is referred to.
