798,582. Road-vehicle couplings. MASSEYHARRIS-FERGUSON, Inc. July 16, 1956 [Aug. 12, 1955], No. 21862/56. Class 103(5) The frame 12 of a hay baler 7 is connected by a tongue 18 and a joint 19 to a tractor 6 and is provided with a pair of hitching points 38, 39 for a hitch structure 31 to which a wagon may be attached. When the tractor is driven through both wheels 9, 10 the hitch structure 31 is used in the position shown but when the drive to the wheel 10 is transferred to the implement wheel 16 the hitch structure 31 is connected as shown in dotted lines, the hitch plate 47 being disposed mid-way between the driving wheels of the tractorimplement combination. To allow further adjustment to balance the towing load the plate 47 is provided with apertures 48 for connection to the wagon 32 and the plate 47 is reversible in the structure 31.
