Class 52(5) A curtain rail connector comprises two bars of C- or like section joined together, end to end, by a bendable, flat strip so that a curtain rail can be inserted in the inner end of one bar. As shown, limbs 15 of a C- section bar 10 have end openings 13 for the insertion of curtain rails 11 and the flanges 12 are interrupted at the central part to provide a flat strip and a central opening 14 into which a rail can be inserted while the bar is temporarily bent at a groove 17 formed in a thickening 16. The rails are secured in the connector by screws 19 and may be used with wall mountings for hanging cubicle-forming curtains, or cord guide 22 and cord outlet deflecting means, on the wall mounting, being provided.
