Abstract
793,450. Filters for liquids. BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO., Ltd. Dec. 28, 1955 [Dec. 8, 1954], No. 35510/54. Class 46. A filter for laboratory &c. use comprises a rigid detachable porous disc 9 of porcelain, ceramic, plastic, or porous metal, surrounded by an annular washer 11 of compressible material such as neoprene, polythene, silicon rubber or polytetrafluorethylene, disposed between two interconnected members 5, 7 of the filter. In one form a container 1 delivers through the disc 9 to a funnel 3. In modifications, the container 1 is omitted or replaced by another funnel 3.
